Many times, I am asked by a new member, "what can you do in here?"  Well, there are so many things to do, that it is difficult to tell people, so I usually show people.  Since I can't do that in a blog, I will just try to explain what types of things you can do in RLC.

First and foremost thing you can do is to meet people (see my other post about how to approach ladies).  You can chat, you can play games.  But those are normal for a Chat Program.  But there are more ways to have some fun in RLC.

For example; you can go rollerblading, dancing, swimming, rock climbing, flying, combat flying, sit in a hot tub, drink, get high, play games, and have sex.  There are even more fun activities to do, once you get the hang of things in the RLC world.  In the new version, there is even a Puzzle room, this room is a lot of fun to play in.  Let me elaborate on each of these.

Rollerblading
You can go rollerblading in either the Roller Rink (off the main street), or the Skate Park (off Vancouver street).  To put on your roller blades, you simply type in '/skate'.  You can turn it off by typing '/skate' again.  There are actually several commands that you can use throughout RLC.  They all begin with the forward slash ('/').  If you want to have a good laugh, skate directly into a wall, and see what happens.

Dancing
There is dancing in all of the clubs and bars.  Even in some other areas, you will find them.  Dancing is easy.  You just walk to the dance floor, and your avatar starts dancing.  Notice that there is a list of dances to your right, at the top you will find 2 selections; Auto-dance, and repeat dance.  Most people just select the Auto-dance, and let it go.  That is unless you like doing the white-man overbite (that is what I call it).  :)  You can also dance anywhere in RLC, by using commands.  Ladies have different dances than men.  Ladies can type in any of these; '/cage_dance0', '/cage_dance1', and '/cage_dance2', men can type in '/dance'.  The men got screwed in this deal, well until you watch the ladies cage dance :).

Swimming
You can go swimming about anywhere there is water.  There is the aquarium (lagoon), several beaches, a lake (from park lane), and some pools all around in RLC.  To swim, just go into the water.  You control your avatar either by the mouse or keyboard.  If you are doing it by the keyboard, make sure you are not in the chat box.  If you are in the Lagoon, be careful not to get stuck in the pirate ship :).

Rock Climbing
Well, I am not really sure what to call it, but I guess it is rock climbing.  In the aquarium (lagoon), and in the skate park, you can jump up on the walls,and play around.  You jump by using the space bar (when you are not in the chat box).  If you have wings, you can jump even higher.  Unfortunately, basic members cannot have wings.

Flying and Combat Flying
There are only 2 places I know of to go flying, and one is for combat flying.  Both of them are in the sports club.  You start the flying by hitting the 'ctrl' key in those rooms, and you control your avatar the same as swimming.  If you are in the combat flying, you can shoot others down, and a score is kept for you.  The score is not saved, and is just for fun.  I don't know how to shoot at people, as it has been almost a year since I have done it last.

Sit in a Hot Tub
One of my favorite things to do.  Sit in a hot tub and mingle.  You will find hot tubs all over the place.  The Bordello, the bathhouse, and park lane, for starters.  It is a great place to just sit and joke around.  I have even had contests to see who can hold their breath longer.  LOL... I think we were at 30 or 40 minutes before we both called it a tie :).

Drinking and Drugs
This is an interesting feature they put in the program.  You can sit at any bar, and a few other places, and drink virtual beer.  Your avatar will feel the affects of it.  You can even smoke pot, eat mushrooms, and take ecstasy.  Keep in mind, this is NOT REAL.  That is why it is so fun, it is free, and each one has a little different affect on your avatar.  The coolest parts are that you don't become a drug addict (unless you want to), and you can sober up at the click of a button.  I have had a lot of fun playing around with these.

Playing Games
There are event coordinators in RLC.  These people are volunteers that like to hold different types of events.  I have seen and participated in several.  They have Hi-Lo games, street races, parties, trivia, and the list goes on.  This is a great way to have a great time, and meet some new people.

Having Sex
Now we are talking!  Isn't this what we are all here for?  Well, not ALL people are in RLC for it, but it is definitely a fun thing to do.  Sex is different for almost everyone in RLC, but I think that is another post all together.  Let's just talk about the where and how.  It is difficult to figure out where to start on it.  You are probably thinking you need a partner for this, but not really.  They have BOTS in rooms.  A bot is an avatar that is ready and waiting, just for you.  It is a great learning tool.  Of course, you can have a bot anytime you want, too :). 

You can only have sex if you are a VIP member, you are in a room that allows sex, and you are both naked.  You right click on that person, and ask them for sex.  Keep in mind, they can refuse, but by this time they probably won't.  If you want to have a little fun, invite a bot for sex, and then click cancel.  They will kick you out of the room!  If they do not refuse, you click on the bed to have sex.  Then just click on the list of things to do on the right.  There is also speed chat, that is the list on your left.  You have sex until one of you hits the quit button, just make sure one of you has at least hit the 'CUM' button, or it really wasn't worth it, was it?  HAHA

That is about it for the basics of things to do in RLC.  There are a lot more things you can do in there, and you can do it all with your friends in RLC.  If you let your imagination go wild, you will always have fun.  I have met so many people from all over the world, and we continue to have a lot of fun.  I encourage you to open up, and let yourself go.  All I truly ever ask is that you treat people with courtesy.  Remember, there is always someone on the other side of that avatar.  If you are reasonably polite and courteous, you will go far, and have TONS of FUN.
