Since Redlight Center is a globally available application, you get to meet people from all over the world. That is one of the most exciting things for me. I love chatting, skating, dancing, or drinking with my friends from Australia, Ireland, Sweden, UK, France, Canada, and the US. It is still amazing to me to have that type of interaction with people from so far away at one time.
Then there is the concept of having sex. I have had some threesomes, a foursome, and even 5 of us at one time. Where else can you have sex with 4 women at one time and they are not even on the same continent as you? You may be thinking I am blowing smoke up your ass, but I am not. I won't mention any names, one in Canada, one in Florida, one in Sweden, and one in Wisconsin (I think it was Wisconsin). I am a lucky man, and I know it. It only happened one time, but you get the idea.
I have seen people in the US fall in love with people in the UK and Ireland. People in Sweden and France in love, and the list goes on. It is a wonderful thing for those people. I personally can't allow myself to have that deep of a relationship with someone from another continent. I have a few very close lady friends from overseas. I could easily fall for them, but I don't. But why not follow my heart? Well, it is the logical side in me that takes over. Unless either or both of us is swimming in money, the odds of us ever meeting in RL is slim, to none. It is practically a doomed relationship from the beginning.
I am not one who will want to wait to meet a woman. Money is an issue, and so is having a passport. I don't have mine, yet (I know!! Nuts, since I need one to even go to Canada now). The hurdles are too great, and I am too old (DON'T SAY IT!) to wait years for someone. Not to mention, who gets to move? I am pretty happy where I live, so, it won't be me! LOL. Who the hell is going to finance that move? Not to mention, let's say she moves out here. We move in together from day 1, have sex days 2, 3, and 4, then get on each others nerves on days 5, 6, 7, and so on? Yea... I know... I am being a pessimist and too practical. I have been in the situation where a woman moved 600 miles to be with me, gave up her entire life for me. We are divorced now (after an extremely short marriage). Yes, she still lives in this area, and is not moving back, that is a LOOONG story.
I am not trying to make the people who do have these relationships feel bad, or break up. It is not in MY personality to want something like that. Unless of course, she is a sugar mama, and wants to pay for everything. Of course, she will have to pay for move out here. I won't be holding my breath on that one. :) I hope only the best for the people who have loving and serious intercontinental relationships. I hope they beat all the odds, and make it work. I hope they live happily ever after. Because, I am a true romantic at heart. That is why I have been know to stick my neck out for relationships, and that is why I have been hurt more times than I care to count.
To all my friends with those relationships, I wish you the very best of luck, from the bottom of my heart. If any of you make it work, and you get to be together, please, let me know. I want nothing for you but for you to be happy.
Your friend from the USA
