I wanted to share with my new rlc family, a recent observation as it relates to this fabulous online experience/opportunity. My initial curiosity of RCL stemmed from my interest in a newspaper article, partially describing the VR experience, which included opportunity for business expansion into VR. I wanted to check out the environment and see how real the experience could be. The interesting part is while we attempt separate the virtual world from the “real” world in our minds, emotionally and character wise many of us bring our same old habits, tendencies, fears and beliefs with us into RLC. A interesting example would be today when I was thinking of a person in my RLC list who is a professional in the software field, he would be someone that could help immensely in the search for knowledge and information relating to the creation of this new frontier, however, if u visit my page, that person probable would not make my front page list…because he is male. My thirst for the most beautiful or in some cases most fuck-able female has almost consumed my first 5 days in the world. ( Granted it was a very worthwhile endeavor and education). But because VR is known as fantasy, we (hopefully) let go of most of our inhibitions that was given to us by society or other forms of social conditioning in ‘reality’.
The question that begs to be answered is; if this rlc world with it loose rules as it relates to human interaction, with regard to expectations and inhibitions, were somehow transposed into our reality, meaning, the world we currently live in, minus all the morality and inhibition, would we act like our rlc avatars? I mean in here I act like a kid in a candy store and while I’m having a ball (I’m never gonna give it up!) that could become my full focus and thus, there are many missed opportunities for other worthwhile networking and social contact. Does not your true character show up in your avatar? I think so. Think about how many ppl in here speak of drama, of jealousy and back-biting. Because many of us bring along the same emotions and reactions that create drama in the real world, it creates the same circumstances in your virtual world.
I think the most interesting study is the potential for self-growth is greater here in that you can be third person (god) to your emotions, whereas the ‘real’ world usually doesn’t allow ( outside some form of meditation) because most think we are attached to our emotions. However, if u clik that 3rd person button then u bcum the man behind the spirit (the avatar and your emotions) you can examine your responses to the stimuli in this virtual world, and therefore examine your trained responses in the real world. Adjust if you must but learn to love urself just as u r, but understanding AWARENESS is the first step in mastering your world, both virtual and real. Take what you learn about yourself in rlc and apply the knowledge and awareness in your real life. The change can be tremendous! That my friends is how The VIRTUAL TRULY DOES BECOME REALITY!! I think this is the perfect place to begin transforming our real world through mastery of self (avatar)
Peace above all!
