Well, I am glad I ask people for help with ideas on what to blog.  I had NEVER even known this kind of thing happened in RLC.  I was talking to my friend Sweet_Emotion, and she told me about a post from Distraction_PBM.  Sweet_Emotion actually wrote a post for me, and Distraction_PBM sent me the original, which was the inspiration for this whole thing.  Distraction also gave me a short version of a couple of stories that inspired her original post.

First, let's start with what Distraction_PBM posted (in the form she sent it to me):

Ok so this isn't directed at any one person. However, I have had a few of my guy friends feel very hurt because of women treating them badly and honestly, its pissing me off. So not only have they gifted very expensive engagement rings to women, to then have those women bail out on them once they got that ring.

My message to my male friends is this, do not give expensive things to women you don't really know. I know its rays, but hell...takes ages to get that many. Also, stop with enormous webgifts period until she proves to you she deserves it.

I know women have their jaws open, but ya know what? I don't care...that is such bullshit to treat men this way. I hate it when women do this crap in rl and despise seeing it happen in here too. So ladies, also think before you enter into a relationship and be honest with these guys....on what you want from them. I am sure I have hurt guys too am not saying that I haven't, but I sure as hell made it clear where they stood with me.

Ya see its not just women hurt in here, our male friends are getting hurt too...so all I ask is to please think before you act.

Wow, what a post.  Now, let's take a look at what Sweet_Emotion sent me that was inspired by this post (I did some editing, but not much):

Ok guys this one is for you. This is just one woman’s view but I think you should listen to me and think about it. So you have this girl and you want to send her a gift and you look at what there is to send and how many rays you have. Now the question on your mind is hum what do I send. Stop right there!!! Lets think about this for a minute if she cares for you in the lest bit she will not really care what it is. She will only care that you took the time to think about her and to look at what there was to send to her. Well on this note don’t send her something that you know she will not like. But do not see what the most expensive gift there is that you can afford. Start out with a small gift and she how she responds to that gift. If she seems to really appreciate it then you might just have a good one. If she just says thanks for the gift and nothing more to the fact that oh wow he must really think I’m special, or u might get my point, then watch out. But then if she sends you a gift back ok she just might be really in to you.

Ok now let’s look at all of this in a real life out look for just a second. Guys you would not go spend $100.00 on a gift for a girl you just knew for a week in the real world would you? So why on earth would you go and spend 35.00 rays on one in RLC? It’s just about the same when you stop and think about it. Or look at how much the gifts cost. Ok so maybe not that much of a difference but I am just trying to get a good point across.

Guys try just sending profile comments at first and see where that gets you. If she responds to them then take it from there. No need to jump in with all these gifts I mean yes woman love gifts but damn woman come on give these nice guys a break it takes some time to build up these rays and let them spend it on someone that is going to appreciate it. If you are here just to fuck with someone’s head let them know it. If you are here to be as truthful as you can let them know that too. Yes we all know it’s a “GAME” but some of us in RLC do not look at it that way because we are all people talking not some computer talking to you. Take that in to mind when you start to feel like you need to move on to the next person.

Ok, so I read those.  Then I talked to some other ladies about it.  Guess what, none of them were really surprised by it.  I was!  I mean, it is RLC, and RAYS!  Sure, rays can be turned into cash, but how much?  And is it really worth all the trouble?  Apparently it is to some. 

Distraction told me the stories behind her post.  In a nutshell, the first guy was madly in love with his woman.  He asked her to marry him (RLC Marriage), and bought her a diamond ring (RLC Webgift).  She dumped him the next day.  The second guy, pretty much the same thing.  Different guys, and different girls.  Those RLC engagement rings cost 2000+ rays.  Not chump change (in ray speak).

I was just floored, but what floored me most, is that this warning was coming from women, and not men.  I have been really lucky in RL and RLC.  I have never been with a Gold Digger.  Probably because I don't have tons of money!   lol.  I have a ton of heart, and plenty of other things, but not tons of dough here!  Just to hear women warning men in this way is highly refreshing.  I guess it is a lot like men warning their unsuspecting female friends about the man whores.  lol

Back on track here.  So, men.  I know the feeling to be wanted, needed, accepted, and all that.  It stems from a low self-esteem.  You NEVER have to buy a woman like that.  If you want to go that way, just get a hooker, at least you already know how much, and what you get for it.  Seriously.  NEVER give expensive gifts to a woman, unless you have been with her in RL for awhile.  I lived with a woman for 9 years, the most expensive thing I bought her was a $450 ring.  She always wanted a nice diamond, but not the commitment, she never got the diamond.  Good thing, I found out she was cheating on me, and kicked her out ASAP.

A gold digger is not what you want.  She is not worth it, no matter how hot she is, or how great in bed she is.  She is NOT worth it.  She will ALWAYS break your heart in the end.  Men... PLEASE... DON'T DO IT.  I would rather spank my monkey to bad porn!   lol  But how do I really feel?   hahahaha

Women, be nice.  Don't lead men on.  I have a lot of lady friends, and I have hit on all of them that did not already have a bf or husband (in RL or RLC).  I appreciated the ones who said 'Web, I am not attracted to you that way', 'I am not interested', or something similar.  I would rather know UP FRONT about where it could or could not go.  I will respect you a lot longer, and keep you as a friend.  I even have a friend that has flat out told me that we can have fun in RLC, but in RL, NEVER.  Those are not her exact words, but you get the idea.  She is not in RLC to find a bf or husband.

Men, don't buy expensive gifts.  Take this advice in RLC and in RL.  Ladies, be courteous, and let men know where they stand.  Remember, we are simple creatures, food, water, sleep, and sex is all we really need.  We cannot read your minds :).  Some of us are easier to take advantage of, and some are not.  Please don't abuse your feminine ways, we would all appreciate it.   lol :)
