Wow, it has been too long since I have written a post.  I am truly sorry about that.  I have been a bit busy and preoccupied.

There has been a few new features added to the client, and I think I like all of them.  I particularly like the stand up sex.   But, I am also finding it a bit annoying.  It is awesome that it allows you to have sex pretty much anywhere in the virtual world, as long as you can get naked.  I have personally had sex in the street, the Cathedral (no longer there now), and the lagoon :).  I absolutely love it.  More...

Yesterday was Part 1 of the LiX family interview.  It was with the founder Catootje.  Today we talk to a couple of other members, one is a working girl, and one is not.  They are two very nice ladies.  I know Snow quite well, we have been friends a long time.  The ladies' full names are SnowOwl_Lix and LexxyLynn_LiX.

I hope you enjoy this interview.  More...

It is time for another interview.  In fact, there will be two in a row for this.  I had heard from a VERY good friend of mine about a family she had joined.  It is a brand new family to RLC, and I have been impressed with them so far.  This first interview is with the founder (Catootje1990_LiX), and she is a nice young lady.  I have had several chats with her, and I am quite impressed.  You can get even more information on them by viewing the family profile (LiX_family).

The following is the interview with her: More...

I am over 21, and I can prove it.  Are you, can you prove it?  I am glad that the age verification system is in place on RLC.  More importantly, I am thrilled that they actually PRACTICE it.  RLC is truly an adult's world.  It is meant for adults, and if my son (15, soon) got in there, he would be grounded until he was 18.  Granted, a minor can skate by as a basic member, but then, they can't see or do any naked stuff.

Recently, a friend of mine, __Moon__, was helping a guy get a VIP.  She has sent me her Yahoo IM Transcripts, and the entire story.  I am not going to post the IM.  What follows is what she told me (copied with permission): More...

This is just a small annoyance of mine and the Social Center.  When I send an e-mail through the social center, it is formatted pretty much the way I type it.  Much like my blogs show up the same way as I type them.  When I hit the enter key once, I get a line break.  When I put two line breaks together it is a new paragraph.  I know that this is a minor issue, but for those who write longer bulletins, it is kind of nice to have it user friendly, and readable.  As you can tell by reading my blog posts, I try to be user friendly, and break up my paragraphs well.  I don't have one long paragraph that runs together.  Of course, let's not talk about my sentences, as they can be run on for days.  lol More...

I have not written about the new client for RLC (now 'Utherverse 3D Client') mostly because I didn't feel that the new version was quite ready to be done, yet.  Then, they officially launched the new client and started to shut down the old one yesterday.  They are shutting it down to only 2 regions, and I am not sure why they are doing it, but I am sure they have a reason.

I had been playing around in it for a few weeks before now, and there were a lot of issues in it.  I didn't feel it was really ready for prime time, and that they had rushed to get it out there.  I am not alone, there were a lot of blog and bulletin postings out there saying that it pretty much sucked.  But, being a programmer, I knew that they just needed some time and feedback on it, and it would get better.  So I gave them some time to get things sorted out.  I was even skeptical on the release of it up until yesterday.

I am completely impressed with the progress they have made in the last couple of days.  It is a much better system than before, even though things really haven't changed in the eyes of the end user.  Let me explain a few of these differences. More...

Well, I was poking around profiles the last couple of days.  I also wanted to update my look and feel.  This made me think that I wanted to write a little on what to do with your Utherverse profile.  This is not a tutorial on how to, it is more of a 'what not to do' to your profile.  You can go to any 'My Space' profile editing site and find pre-built profiles for your page.  The problem I have is that there area lot of bad templates out there.

While I was looking for a profile, there were about half a dozen that I really liked the background image, but that was about it.  Keep in mind, that your profile does more than just look nice.  It's purpose is to tell people about you.  So, if the background makes the words hard to read, I personally feel that the profile has failed.  But, that is not the only problems I have seen.  The following are pet peeves of mine. Well, I am glad I ask people for help with ideas on what to blog.  I had NEVER even known this kind of thing happened in RLC.  I was talking to my friend Sweet_Emotion, and she told me about a post from Distraction_PBM.  Sweet_Emotion actually wrote a post for me, and Distraction_PBM sent me the original, which was the inspiration for this whole thing.  Distraction also gave me a short version of a couple of stories that inspired her original post. This can be a super scary topic, or an exciting one.  We have all heard good and bad stories about people meeting on the Internet.  I choose to talk about the good ones.  I am on RLC mostly to make friends, but in hopes to find that 'special' one.  I don't do well on dating sites.  In Real Life (RL), I am still a work in progress.  LOL.  In the process of making friends, I have met many people whom I would like to meet.  Some as friends, others as more.  Since I have first logged onto RLC, I have ALMOST met 4 women, and actually met one woman, and one guy.  More...

One of the features of the RLC 3D community that sets it apart from Second Life is that it has a companion Web Site.  I have a Second Life account, but I have only logged in a few times.  I have not seen a companion web site to Second Life.  RLC in and of itself is a fantastic 3D community, where you can meet and greet people from all over the world.  But the web site that goes along with RLC is a handy way to communicate with your RLC friends when they are offline.
