Ok, so the dancing has been around for a little bit now.  It has given me time to play around, and see what I like and don't like about it.  What I don't like about it, umm... well.. nothing. As most of you know, I had a visitor last week, and a lot of you have been asking how it went.  I had my reasons to wait to post this, and I am not going to get into them at all.

I have heard a couple of horror stories about visits.  Although I have had good experiences with my RL meetings, I was still quite nervous.  She was staying at my house for a week, and that could end up pretty bad.  So, I am sure you can see that it was an interesting situation we put ourselves in.  We both violated rule #1: Meet in public. I was recently asking my friends for ideas on what to blog about.  I got some good responses back.  One of them was a gentle reminder of something I said I would post about.  RLC Marriage.  She (Verns_Dream) then sent me her story, a bit of a long one.  I might even post her story, since it is quite a nice one. 

A lot of new people think that the RLC marriage is kind of odd.  It is a virtual world, why get married?  That brings me to one thing I kind of reiterate among my posts, RLC is different things to different people.  In Verns_Dream's story, she tells about when she was new, she could not understand an RLC marriage.  You can almost hear her opinion change as she writes about the love she meets in RLC. Well, as some of my friends know, I am meeting someone from RLC today.  She is coming to visit me for several days.  We are both nervous, and excited, and all that.  We are both feeling like we are a little nuts.  But, we are both committed to actually meet.

She should be here in the early afternoon, barring any transportation issues.  And I have dinner planned out, and I hope to get some good movie time in with her.  Anything else is totally up to her.

I know there are a lot of people in RLC who have met in RL.  I would love to hear your stories.  If you have met someone from RLC in RL, please use the contact me form to tell me about it.  I would like to post some of your stories.  I can post them as anonymous, or with your RLC login.  I will not post anything I do not have permission for.

Since Redlight Center is a globally available application, you get to meet people from all over the world.  That is one of the most exciting things for me.  I love chatting, skating, dancing, or drinking with my friends from Australia, Ireland, Sweden, UK, France, Canada, and the US.  It is still amazing to me to have that type of interaction with people from so far away at one time.

Then there is the concept of having sex.  I have had some threesomes, a foursome, and even 5 of us at one time.  Where else can you have sex with 4 women at one time and they are not even on the same continent as you?  You may be thinking I am blowing smoke up your ass, but I am not.  I won't mention any names, one in Canada, one in Florida, one in Sweden, and one in Wisconsin (I think it was Wisconsin).  I am a lucky man, and I know it.  It only happened one time, but you get the idea. I have no idea on what the statistics are, so I will just make some up.  These 'statistics' are based on my friends, and other conversations I have had.  I would say that about 90%-95% of my friends on RLC are shy in real life.  That would lead me to believe that the overall 'shyness in RL' percentage would be about 75%-80%.  Even though my numbers are based on no facts whatsoever, you have to admit, the majority of people in RLC are shy in RL.

So, I thought about this, and wondered why such a high percentage of people in RLC are shy in RL.  I had a couple of conversations with others about this anomaly.  But is it really an anomaly?  Or does this type of application draw shy people to it?  Think about that, if you were an outgoing person by nature, would you be in RLC?  Maybe, maybe not.  I just think that it draws more shy people than outgoing people.More...

It is odd, that in a 3D virtual world where you can pretty much do anything, that people still want to have a relationship with another person.  Think about it.  You can just go out and have sex with as many people as you want.  There no VD, AIDs, or anything to be worried about.  It is all in a virtual world.  There are plenty of those people out there.  But then, there are a lot more people who are in an RLC relationship.  I am one of those people.  I have an RLC girlfriend, who is a great girl.  But, it is in RLC only.  She has a Real Life relationship, so her and I will not be anything in Real Life, and I am fine with all that. 

Why is that?  I suppose you could really get into the psyche of the brain, but I think it boils down to one thing.  Human nature.  I enjoy having a girlfriend in RLC.  Even though we have not seen a lot of each other, we miss each other just the same. More...

Well, I am glad I ask people for help with ideas on what to blog.  I had NEVER even known this kind of thing happened in RLC.  I was talking to my friend Sweet_Emotion, and she told me about a post from Distraction_PBM.  Sweet_Emotion actually wrote a post for me, and Distraction_PBM sent me the original, which was the inspiration for this whole thing.  Distraction also gave me a short version of a couple of stories that inspired her original post. This can be a super scary topic, or an exciting one.  We have all heard good and bad stories about people meeting on the Internet.  I choose to talk about the good ones.  I am on RLC mostly to make friends, but in hopes to find that 'special' one.  I don't do well on dating sites.  In Real Life (RL), I am still a work in progress.  LOL.  In the process of making friends, I have met many people whom I would like to meet.  Some as friends, others as more.  Since I have first logged onto RLC, I have ALMOST met 4 women, and actually met one woman, and one guy.  More...

So you are walking around RLC, finding people to chat with. Then there might be a possible connection, or who even knows, a LOVE connection. So what do you do for fun on a date?

There is a lot to do in RLC for going on a date. It is more than hanging in the street near transport. I am going to list a few of the places to go for a date in RLC:

1)      The Skating Rink- perfect place to start any date

2)      The Lagoon-awesome place for discovery- the caves, the shipwreck, or the beaches

3)      Sexy’s-A great place for dancing, or for eating in the resturant

4)      Night Candy-great place for a lap dance, or just for dancing

5)      The Hot Tubs- get naked with that one you like a lot!

6)      Merlins Coffee Shop- Great place for music, beer or coffee, other happy fun

7)      Skate Park- this is a great place to move it on skates

8)      The Park-offers a place to swim, has cabins, other areas of interest

9)      Bordello- A place to dance, or to board with the one your on a date with

10)  Blu’s –a relaxing place to hang out in on Vancouver Street
